On December 12, 2025, Midwest Family Mutual Insurance employees came together to support the local community by volunteering at Meals from the Heartland, located in West Des Moines, Iowa. Fourteen team members from a variety of departments participated, each using four hours of company-provided volunteer time to help fight hunger.
Working side by side, employees helped package nutritious meals that will be distributed to families and individuals in need both locally and globally. The event highlighted not only the importance of community service, but also the strong sense of teamwork across departments within Midwest Family.

In addition to employee volunteer efforts, the Boyd Midwest Family Private Foundation donated $3000 to Meals from the Heartland and to the Food Bank of Iowa to further support hunger relief efforts in our communities. Midwest Family is proud of the dedication shown by its employees and looks forward to continuing its support of organizations that strengthen the communities it serves.
