Introducing the Boyd Midwest Family Private Foundation
The Ron Boyd family and Midwest Family Mutual Insurance Company are pleased to announce the BOYD MIDWEST FAMILY PRIVATE FOUNDATION providing:
- Need-based Scholarships
- Hardship/Emergency Funds
- Grants to 501c(3) organizations
This private foundation was formed in December, 2019, to make a positive impact in the lives of:
- MFM employees and their families
- MFM agents and their families
- MFM customers and their families
- Veterans, disabled/fallen military members and first responders/police (and families)
The three Foundation programs (need-based Scholarships, funds in the case of a Hardship/Emergency, and Grants to 501c(3) organizations) are being introduced over the next few years in phases. In addition, the programs will be “rolled out” to selected participants over this time period. The Hardship/Emergency fund applications launched in January, 2020, to MFM employees/families. Hardship/Emergency funds will be made available to Agents starting January 1st, 2022.
Applications for need-based scholarships will be accepted from MFM employees/families and Agents/families beginning in 2021, for the 2021-22 school year.
